Policies and What to Expect
Everything below exists to make our work together simple and predictable. The short version: your weekly time is held for you, 24 hours' notice for changes, clear payment terms — paired with genuine flexibility when life happens.

Sessions
Your hour is yours. Your weekly slot is reserved for you alone — I turn other students away for that time.
Sessions end when they end. If we finish a topic early, we use the remaining time productively — review, planning, or one longer problem. Sessions that end early are billed in full.
Punctuality. Sessions start on time. If a student arrives up to 20 minutes late, we use the remaining time. No-shows after 20 minutes are billed in full.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Later notice or a missed session is billed in full.
Life happens. Emergencies, illness, and genuine conflicts are always worth a conversation. Communicate early and honestly, and I'll work with you — the goal is a schedule that respects both of us, not gotchas.
Best fix: a swap within the same week rather than a cancellation.
If I cancel late (less than 24 hours), the session is made up free or credited toward your next invoice — your choice.

Payment
After each session, an invoice arrives via Stripe — card or ACH. Due within 7 days. For regular weekly clients, billing is monthly on the 1st.
Your rate is set in your welcome email. Changes come with 30 days' notice — never a surprise.
Receipts for every payment — useful for 529 accounts, employer education benefits, and tax records.

First Session Guarantee
If the first session isn't the right fit, tell me within 48 hours and you don't pay for it. No forms, no argument.

Communication
Email (hello@justinmentors.com) is best for scheduling and logistics. I typically respond within one business day. I don't answer messages during sessions or late evenings — the schedule exists so I can be fully present for the student in front of me.

Privacy
Session notes are private, shared only with the family. I don't record sessions unless you ask — happy to arrange it for review purposes.
